Well another first has happenned to Top Shot Hockey and that
is we attended Countryfest in Dauphin, MB. Four days of country
music, cowboy hats and oh yea hockey. If it it sounds a little
weird it was but it worked, thousands of country music fans
had a chance to see some hockey history, play some games and
check out some great suilverware including Jonathan Toews recently
won Conn Smythe trophy.
The Memorial Cup in Brandon Manitoba was absolutely a huge
success. The people of Brandon were friendly and helpful and
great hosts. The hockey was great and the talent on the ice
was exceptional. Everyone saw why Taylor Hall will be gone early
in the NHL draft.
The fanfest was our largest ever and we had twelve games at
the tournament which was a big success. Fans and players alike
enjoyed the challenges from the electronic hockey net to our
newest game the Super Deker stick-handling challenge.
Top Shot Hockey attended for the first time ever an Allen Cup
and it was fantastic. The Fort Saint John host committee did
an outstanding job in presenting the tournament and treating
guests as well as I have ever been treated. Thank you Fort Saint
John, BC and congratulations to the winning hometown team the
Fort St. John Flyers.
The Kroger promotion with Fahlgren in Canton, Michigan was
a big success with Detroit Red Wings alumni Ted Lindsay and
John Ogrodnick attending.
The Winter Olympics were more than words can describe, and
to see Canada and USA in the final for Men's hockey was beyond
anything we at Top Shot Hockey could have imagined. Congratulations
to both teams on a final we all will remember for a long time.
Another first for Top Shot Hockey is the NCAA outdoor game
hosted by the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium. The
organizers held a one day fanfest which Top Shot Hockey was
proud to be part of...Go Badgers Go!
It only took about one minute while attending Hockey Day in
Canada presented by the community of Stratford Ontario to realize
how important hockey is to the fabric of our nation. Top Shot
Hockey was very happy to attend this event and hopefully will
be travelling north for next years event.
Top Shot Hockey introduced our newest interactive product at
the World Juniors Championship in Saskatoon and Regina. It was
a big hit and was played non-stop for 14 days. Our plan is to
be in production by the end of April 2010.
Top Shot Hockey welcomes Hockey Montreal to our list of electronic
hockey net owners. Hockey Montreal will be utilizing the skill
development aspect of the net by adding another aid in their
artillery of hockey weapons.
The Quad City Mallards Home Opener was a blast! Nearly 8,000
fans saw the Mallards return to Moline for a day of music (Night
Ranger) interactive games (Top Shot) and displays of hockey
history including local and NHL by the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Get the Spirit at a Toronto Marlies hockey game and try out
our electronic hockey net. Yes the Marlies are our newest customer.
You can be a Top Shot at every Toronto Marlies game this season
in the Marlies Alley.
News about Top Shot is being heard across the Pond. Yet another
EIHL team has joined the ranks of Top Shot owners, the Belfast
Giants have purchased an electronic net just in time for their
matches against the American Hockey League Teams, Toronto Marlies
and Hamilton Bull Dogs the affiliates of the Toronto Maple Leafs
and Montreal Canadians respectively. Stay tuned as Top Shot
will soon have an exclusive distribution agent in the European
Community.
Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association is the newest owner of
the Top Shot Hockey electronic hockey net. Delivered in the
beginning of August they put it to quick use at a local festival
in August.
Top Shot was part of the first ever Guelph Storm Hockey Camp
providing many off-ice activites for the 60-80 young hockey
players attending.
Energizer Canada had an electricfying booth at their annual
trade show at the Toronto Congress Centre August 18th and 19th.
The Top Shot Hockey annual golf day was another great day and
the weather was absolutely fantastic. Top Shot Hockey would
like to thank all the golfers and prize donors for their support
to this years tournament. The winning foursome consisted of
Bjorn Trow, Ryan Duffield, Matt Lynch and Darrell Devine. Victoria
Golf Club East once again did an outstanding job.
Top Shot Hockey and the Hockey Hall of Fame will be teaming
up again to bring teh Fanfest to the 2010 World Junior Hockey
Championship in Regina and Saskatoon. More news to come.
Top Shot Hockey helped the CIBC open its newest branches in
Maple and Miton. Our electronic hockey net was a big success
as was Wendal Clark who was present signing autographs in Maple.
Paul Coffey Nissan of Kitchener utilized Top Shot's electronic
net and our inflatable mini rink zone. The HHOF was there with
the Norris trophy and the Canada Cup both won by Paul Coffey.
The electronic net is a big success "across the pond"
in Galway City, Ireland where we installed the first ever electronic
hockey net with the intercard "swipe" technology.
The facility, entitled "Pure Skill" is doing great
and is the newest sports and amusement facility on the Emerald
Island.
