Past Stories
The Detroit Red Wing's fanfest on September 5-6 at
the Joe Louis Arena was a huge success. Well attended and well received
is a good description of this two day event for the Stranley Cup
Champions' fans. The Fanfest included the new Hockey Hall of Fame
Legends display complete with outstnding graphics and artifacts,
as well as, ten Top Shot interactive games. To compliment the event
Dave Arrigo provided hios skill as an artist and painted on site
the 2008 Stanley Cup mural.
The first ever shooting challenge was held in Vanersborg,
Sweden and the results show North American shooters better beware
as there is some real talent across the pond. In the 14yrs and under
category Jonas Bergstrom hit all nine lights in 8.57 seconds and
in the adult category Patrik Arnieldstam scored 6.84 seconds. I
think we'll be hearing from Sweden again very soon...
There was a lot of sharpshooters at the OHL All Star
game and they weren't all on the ice...Jordan Lacastro achieved
the challenging score of 10.02 seconds on the Top Shot electronic
hockey net but was outdone when young Alex Bottigoni amazingly took
only 7.19 seconds to knock out all nine targets, truly the legacy
of great hockey players continues in the SOO.
"Top Shot Hockey came in for us at the 2007 UHL
All-star Game and handled the skills competition for our event from
start-to-finish and from top-to-bottom. If you're in the market
for someone to run your hockey event...then Top Shot Hockey should
be your first and last phone call. They will make you look very
very good"
Scott Sproat, Executive Vice-President
Fort Wayne Komets Hockey
"Top Shot Hockey ran our Skills Challenge in
February, 2007. The Top Shot staff did an incredible job to replicate
a National Hockey League caliber skills challenge for all of our
fans to enjoy. The events supplied by Top Shot Hockey included competitions
such as: accuracy shooting, fastest skater, hardest shot, and more.
Our entire organization was completely satisfied with the quality
of equipment and customer service that was provided and we look
forward to working with Top Shot Hockey in the future!"
